“Happy Mother’s Day”
Reflection: As most of the world recognizes and celebrates this day of Mother’s Day. I would like to say a few words that have been on my heart these past few weeks. More of us need to feel the grace of God in our daily lives. Women work so hard to keep their families together, there are also the unsung heroes which are single mothers. They strive every day to balance work, and children and hold a heavy burden as they navigate financial hardships and sacrificing from themselves to provide for their children.
Prayer:
Father God, the psalmist pleaded with you to search his heart and we as women cry out to you Lord to examine us and reassure us that we are on the right path. We are aware Lord that you know us inside and out you know our comings in and goings out, and we ask you to cleanse us of all iniquity so that we can show ourselves approved before our children our church and community. Be our guide O’God lead us in the path of righteousness and humility. Clothe us in white and deliver us from the evil one.
Remind the women of the world Lord that they were created in your image and there is nothing but perfection in everything that comes forth from your hands. Teach us through your word to value ourselves and to stand firm when the storms threaten our minds and attack us in our self-esteem. Give us a firm foundation to stand upon to carry out our purpose for you. Do not leave us Father nor forsake us in our hour of need. Protect all the children and give the mothers the strength and resolute spirit to train up children that will be God fearing and God loving.
Instill in us a longing and hunger to seek your face daily, for all our concerns for all the decisions that demand our attention, remind us that we can trust you and go to you always. Instill in us a desire to pray and worship your holy name and to give you all the glory, honor, and praise in Jesus’ name Amen.

"Feliz día de la madre"
Reflexión: Como la mayor parte del mundo reconoce y celebra este día del Día de la Madre. Me gustaría decir algunas palabras que han estado en mi corazón estas últimas semanas. Más de nosotros necesitamos sentir la gracia de Dios en nuestra vida diaria. Las mujeres trabajan tan duro para mantener unidas a sus familias, también están los héroes anónimos que son las madres solteras. Se esfuerzan todos los días por equilibrar el trabajo y los niños y soportan una pesada carga mientras atraviesan dificultades financieras y se sacrifican para mantener a sus hijos.
Oración:
Padre Dios, el salmista te rogó que escudriñes su corazón y nosotras como mujeres clamamos a ti Señor para que nos examines y nos asegures que estamos en el camino correcto. Somos conscientes Señor que nos conoces por dentro y por fuera conoces nuestras entradas y salidas, y te pedimos que nos limpies de toda iniquidad para que podamos mostrarnos aprobados ante nuestros hijos nuestra iglesia y comunidad. Sé nuestro guía, oh Dios, condúcenos por el camino de la justicia y la humildad. Vístenos de blanco y líbranos del mal.
Recuérdales a las mujeres del mundo Señor que fueron creadas a tu imagen y no hay nada más que perfección en todo lo que sale de tus manos. Enséñanos a través de tu palabra a valorarnos y a mantenernos firmes cuando las tormentas amenacen nuestra mente y nos ataquen en nuestra autoestima. Danos una base firme sobre la cual apoyarnos para llevar a cabo nuestro propósito para ti. No nos dejes Padre ni nos desampares en nuestra hora de necesidad. Protege a todos los niños y dale a las madres la fuerza y el espíritu resuelto para educar a los niños que serán temerosos de Dios y amantes de Dios.
Inculca en nosotros el anhelo y el hambre de buscar tu rostro a diario, por todas nuestras preocupaciones por todas las decisiones que demandan nuestra atención, recuérdanos que podemos confiar en ti y acudir a ti siempre. Inculca en nosotros el deseo de orar y adorar tu santo nombre y darte toda la gloria, el honor y la alabanza en el nombre de Jesús. Amén.
