“Love”

Father God in heaven, we thank you Lord for your presence. There is no place we can go where you are not. Though some desires have distracted us, and we hide from you in shame; though the calamity in the world leaves us anxious and fears have brought us low and we feel miles away from you, you are always near. Your faithfulness is true and your still small voice can be heard if we lean in.

May we repent and turn away from what separates us from you. You, sovereign God are gracious and compassionate towards your children, those you have called as your own. We are grateful to be yours, and grateful you are not angry towards us because of our weaknesses, for we are like sheep and have gone astray. Dear Lord, gather us like a mother hen. Our shepherd and king, may your abounding love cover us today and always.
We pray this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

"Amar"

Padre Dios que estás en los cielos, te damos gracias Señor por tu presencia. No hay lugar al que podamos ir donde tú no estés. Aunque algunos deseos nos hayan distraído, y nos escondamos de ti avergonzados; aunque la calamidad en el mundo nos deja ansiosos y los temores nos han abatido y nos sentimos a kilómetros de ti, siempre estás cerca. Tu fidelidad es verdadera y tu voz apacible y delicada se puede escuchar si nos inclinamos.

Que nos arrepintamos y nos alejemos de lo que nos separa de ti. Tú, Dios soberano, eres clemente y compasivo con tus hijos, a los que has llamado como propios. Estamos agradecidos de ser tuyos, y agradecidos de que no te enojes con nosotros a causa de nuestras debilidades, porque somos como ovejas y nos hemos descarriado. Querido Señor, júntanos como una mamá gallina. Nuestro pastor y rey, que tu abundante amor nos cubra hoy y siempre. Te lo pedimos en el santo nombre de Jesús. Amén.
