Lord,

I pray for women who have made mistakes and have strayed from Your path.

Just as Eve disobeyed You in Genesis chapter 3,

You already had a plan to provide salvation and forgiveness

for the sins of humanity through Jesus Christ.

Like the prodigal son, You welcome us back into Your loving arms

when we call out to You.

I pray for women everywhere to know deeply loved they are by You.

May they follow You with their whole hearts.

Amen

Dearest Lord,

I sit here quietly in my room, opening my heart to you. It is so silent! But if I listen intently, I become aware of the

breathing of my children in beds down the hall. They sigh softly or move in their beds quietly, nestled warmly into their dreams. These most intimate sounds, coming from the people I love most in the world, transform this room. It becomes a place of honoring you, a cathedral of joy and gratitude toward you forgiving me these children.

May I always treasure these gifts you have given me. In each moment of loving them, from kisses to laundry to kitchen, may I be aware of your presence in my life in this way.

“Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel.”

- Proverbs 5:9

I [we] thank you, Creator of us all, for my [our] mother[s].

I thank you that she gave me life and nurtured me all those years. She gave me my faith, helping me to know you and to know Jesus and his ways. She taught me how to love and how to sacrifice for others. She taught me that it was okay to cry and that I should always tell the truth.

Bless her with the graces she needs and which you want to give her today. Help her to feel precious in your eyes today and to know that I love her. Give her strength and courage, compassion and peace.

Bless her this day with your love.

Me siento aquí en silencio en mi habitación, abriéndote mi corazón. ¡Es tan silencioso! Pero si escucho atentamente, me doy cuenta de la

la respiración de mis hijos en las camas del pasillo. Suspiran suavemente o se mueven en sus camas en silencio, acurrucados cálidamente en sus sueños. Estos sonidos más íntimos, provenientes de las personas que más amo en el mundo, transforman esta habitación. Se convierte en un lugar de honrarte, una catedral de alegría y gratitud hacia ti por perdonarme a estos niños.

Father God, I thank you for mothers, I thank you for their lives for their unending devotion to their children. I thank you father that you are protecting them and giving them wisdom to raise healthy minded adults. Father, protect the mothers who are struggling to feed their families that find themselves alone and without a partner to help them. Lead others full of your compassion to help them in their time of need.

Instill in them the strength they need to overcome so many challenges associated with caring for their families. They face enormous tasks from morning till late at night. They must wake in the dead of night to a crying, hungry infant that seeks nourishment and care. Give them the patience to take care of them, even when they themselves may be in need of care.

Thank you, Lord, to hearing this prayer, as I stand in the gap for the millions of women throughout the world who may be seeking to be reassured that you see them, that you will act on their behalf in your perfect timing. Amen.

Hija mía, escucha cuando tu padre te corrige. No descuides la instrucción de tu madre. Lo que aprendas de ellos te coronará de gracia y será una cadena de honor alrededor de tu cuello.

Padre Dios, te doy gracias por las madres, te doy gracias por sus vidas por su incesante devoción a sus hijos. Te agradezco padre que los estés protegiendo y dándoles sabiduría para criar adultos sanos de mente. Padre, protege a las madres que luchan por alimentar a sus familias que se encuentran solas y sin pareja que las ayude. Dirige a otros llenos de tu compasión para ayudarlos en su momento de necesidad.

Inculcarles la fuerza que necesitan para superar tantos desafíos asociados con el cuidado de sus familias. Se enfrentan a enormes tareas desde la mañana hasta tarde en la noche. Deben despertar en la oscuridad de la noche a un bebé hambriento y llorando que busca alimento y cuidado. Dales la paciencia para cuidarlos, incluso cuando ellos mismos necesiten atención.

Dear Lord,

I pray that my mom stays strong in these rough times. I know losing Dad has a major impact in our lives. I see that Mom is getting stronger and stronger everyday and I am proud of her for this. Thank you for her job at Walmart that has given her an opportunity to provide for the family and keep her mind occupied.

I know that sometimes Mom breaks down from time to time but you are there for her. I know that Krishna, Sarah and Rama and myself are here for you too. We are all family and I pray to God that Mom has a very long life ahead of her. Happy Mother’s Day Mom! We all love you.
