Dear Lord,
In the constant hustle and bustle of life,
grant me the stillness of Your peace to listen;
truly listen --- to those You place along my path.
Fill my heart with Your divine patience, that I may embrace each word spoken to me,
not just with my ears, but with an open and understanding heart.
Teach me, O God, to silence my own thoughts and judgements,
to lay aside my responses and solutions, and simply to be present.
Like a seed, patiently waiting beneath the soil for its time to break through into the sunlight,
let me patiently embrace the moments of silence,
giving them space to blossom into empathy and understanding.
Help me to recognize You in every story shared,
in every burden unloaded, and in every joy celebrated.
Instill in me the strength to attentively listen without judgement.
Through my listening, let Your voice be the one that resonates in the hearts of those speaking.
I ask this in the name of Jesus,

Querido Señor,
En el ajetreo constante de la vida,
concédeme la quietud de Tu paz para escuchar;
escuchar verdaderamente --- a quienes colocas a lo largo de mi camino.
Llena mi corazón con Tu divina paciencia, para que pueda acoger cada palabra que se me habla,
no solo con mis oídos, sino con un corazón abierto y comprensivo.
Enséñame, oh Dios, a silenciar mis propios pensamientos y juicios,
a dejar de lado mis respuestas y soluciones, y simplemente estar presente.
Como una semilla, que espera pacientemente bajo la tierra su momento de abrirse paso hacia la luz del sol,
déjame acoger pacientemente los momentos de silencio,
dándoles espacio para florecer en empatía y comprensión.
Ayúdame a reconocerte en cada historia compartida,
en cada carga que me libero y en cada alegría que celebro.
Infúndeme la fuerza para escuchar atentamente sin juzgar.
A través de mi escucha, que Tu voz sea la que resuene en los corazones de quienes hablan.
