Precious and loving Lord,
We call on you today in thanksgiving for being an understanding father and savior. You
have given us your word, your law, and your promises, yet, still, we find it difficult in our daily
lives to obey your commands and desires of us. Too frequently, Lord, we find our hearts and our
minds being swayed by others—some who disregard you altogether, some who only claim to
preach your word.
Grant us the ability to discern your voice among the many. Have mercy on us when we
fall short of doing what we should, saying what we should, believing what we should. Give us
your blessed assurance that, despite our shortcomings, you love each and every one of us
unconditionally.
You sent your one and only son to this world to teach us, and you sacrificed him to save
us. We know that—because of you—we will enter into your holy kingdom. We know that each
of our names is written by your hand. May we do our best in this earthly life to honor you and to
be worthy of our heavenly inheritance, even though you already know our worth.
We call on you humbly, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Precioso y amoroso Señor,
Te invocamos hoy en acción de gracias por ser un padre comprensivo y salvador. Tú
nos has dado tu palabra, tu ley y tus promesas, sin embargo, todavía nos resulta difícil en nuestro día a día
vive para obedecer tus mandamientos y deseos de nosotros. Con demasiada frecuencia, Señor, encontramos que nuestro corazón y nuestra
mentes siendo influenciadas por otros: algunos que te ignoran por completo, otros que sólo afirman
predica tu palabra.
Concédenos la capacidad de discernir tu voz entre las muchas. Ten piedad de nosotros cuando
no llegamos a hacer lo que deberíamos, decir lo que deberíamos, creer lo que deberíamos. Danos
Tu bendita seguridad de que, a pesar de nuestras deficiencias, nos amas a todos y cada uno de nosotros.
