Lord, as we close this month on fatherhood, please let me honor my father, the most noble man I knew. The man that gave me life today as I celebrate another milestone day in my life. My father always did the right thing for the right reasons. You gave him the gift of healing, of which he honored your purpose for his life. A quiet, humble man, my dad always thought that what he did was for your honor, Lord. He wasn’t one to sing his praises, or to attract attention to himself. He wanted to do what was right in life and love and heal his fellow brothers and sisters.

My dear father was a family man that put his family first. His words were always carefully chosen as he guided our path each way. Not one for showing his emotions, he cried in silence when we were suffering, and smiled gently for our triumphs. Lord, he never let us forget where we came from and made the sabbath the most important part of our week. He made us live by your word and your commandments. In Proverbs 22:6, it states that you should Train up the Child in the way he should go and as they get old, they will not change their ways. As I reflect on my Dad, who is now with you in heaven, let me thank you for the kind, gentle man that truly lived by your word Lord in every aspect of his life. I thank you dear Lord for putting me in the path that my father instilled in me of empathy, compassion, loyalty and service. I miss my father terribly, Lord, but I take comfort knowing he is with you. As I celebrate my special day, I honor my “Daddy”, a noble servant of yours Lord, who stood for what is noble each day.

Señor, al cerrar este mes sobre la paternidad, permíteme honrar a mi padre, el hombre más noble que conocí. El hombre que me dio la vida hoy mientras celebro otro día importante en mi vida. Mi padre siempre hizo lo correcto por las razones correctas. Le diste el don de la curación, de la cual honró tu propósito para su vida. Hombre tranquilo, humilde, mi papá siempre pensó que lo que hacía era por tu honor, Señor. No era de los que cantaban sus alabanzas o de atraer la atención sobre sí mismo. Quería hacer lo correcto en la vida y amar y sanar a sus hermanos y hermanas.

Mi querido padre era un hombre de familia que puso a su familia primero. Sus palabras siempre fueron cuidadosamente escogidas mientras guiaba nuestro camino en cada sentido. Sin mostrar sus emociones, lloraba en silencio cuando sufríamos, y sonreía dulcemente por nuestros triunfos. Señor, nunca nos permitió olvidar de dónde venimos e hizo del sábado la parte más importante de nuestra semana. Él nos hizo vivir de tu palabra y de tus mandamientos. En Proverbios 22:6, dice que debes instruir al niño en su camino y en su vejez no cambiarán sus caminos. Mientras reflexiono sobre mi papá, que ahora está contigo en el cielo, permíteme agradecerte por el hombre amable y gentil que verdaderamente vivió de acuerdo con tu palabra Señor en todos los aspectos de su vida. Te agradezco amado Señor por ponerme en el camino que mi padre me inculcó de empatía, compasión, lealtad y servicio. Extraño terriblemente a mi padre, Señor, pero me consuela saber que está contigo. Mientras celebro mi día especial, honro a mi "papá", un noble servidor de tu Señor, que defendió lo que es noble cada día.

Lord, I come before you this moment giving your thanks for all that you have and are doing in my life. I am full of gratitude as I approach your throne room this time. I thank you as I remember my dear father who has gone to be in your eternal glory. I pray for all those who are remembering their fathers during this month that we have set aside to honor them and their roles in our lives.

They are not perfect, as we are not, but Lord, I thank you for those fathers that stood by to protect and guide their children into adulthood. I ask you to give those who are raising their children in a world that wants to confuse our young into a direction that is not of you. Give the fathers wisdom to speak to their children about who you are and why it is important to know and study your word.

Give them the words through your holy spirit that will encourage their young to become the best version of you Father. I thank you for my father and the time you gave me to appreciate him, he was not perfect, but he acknowledged this and tried to do his best as he grew older, and he made tremendous efforts to make up for the times he went astray.

Please help the young fathers to understand the importance of their roles in the lives of their children. Instill in them a burning desire to stand strong with their families and protect them. You along can do this, and I recognized that with you all things are possible. So, I thank you for all that you are doing to restore and heal the family so that the children grow in knowledge of your mercy and power. Amen.

Señor, vengo ante ti en este momento para darte gracias por todo lo que tienes y estás haciendo en mi vida. Estoy lleno de gratitud al acercarme a su salón del trono esta vez. Te agradezco al recordar a mi querido padre que se ha ido para estar en tu eterna gloria. Oro por todos aquellos que están recordando a sus padres durante este mes que hemos reservado para honrarlos a ellos y su papel en nuestras vidas.

Ellos no son perfectos, como nosotros no lo somos, pero Señor, te agradezco por esos padres que se mantuvieron al lado para proteger y guiar a sus hijos hacia la edad adulta. Te pido que le des a aquellos que están criando a sus hijos en un mundo que quiere confundir a nuestros jóvenes en una dirección que no es la tuya. Da sabiduría a los padres para que hablen a sus hijos sobre quién eres y por qué es importante conocer y estudiar tu palabra.

Dales las palabras a través de tu espíritu santo que animen a sus jóvenes a convertirse en la mejor versión de ti Padre. Te agradezco por mi padre y el tiempo que me diste para apreciarlo, él no era perfecto, pero lo reconoció y trató de hacer lo mejor que pudo a medida que crecía, e hizo tremendos esfuerzos para compensar las veces que se desvió. .

Ayude a los padres jóvenes a comprender la importancia de sus roles en la vida de sus hijos. Inculcar en ellos un deseo ardiente de permanecer firmes con sus familias y protegerlos. Tú también puedes hacer esto, y reconocí que contigo todo es posible. Entonces, te agradezco por todo lo que estás haciendo para restaurar y sanar a la familia para que los niños crezcan en el conocimiento de tu misericordia y poder. Amén.
