It is so easy to say this sentence. It is so convenient to think that’s all there is to trust! Those wounds from the people we trusted the most undermine our ability to trust. The circumstances of life that we can’t control undermine our ability to trust. “Where was God? Why didn’t He prevent this?

God is desiring that we stop and communicate with Him and just bask in His love. Pause and just be happy in His presence. That would be the simple way to do it; with an open and willing heart. But a lot of the time He has to bring us to a stop, so that He can get our attention. It takes God putting us in a sick bed, to get us to slow down. Perhaps the tragedy of losing someone or losing the job that had you so consumed, that you don't even pray before sitting down to a meal.

Our worship needs to be intimate and personal; even in the midst of a crowd. God wants our sincere praise and worship. During this time, God has dealt with me and He has drawn me closer into relationship with Him. I

We are complex beings created in His own image, which means that He gave us each our own mind, free will, and emotions. Our brokenness due to sin is very complex as well; sometimes our deepest hurts cannot be detected on an x-ray or through a blood test.
